Row-A-Thon: A Million Meter Journey
March 16th, 2024, marks the start of a monumental event for Pioneer Crew: our Annual Row-A-Thon! Root for Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor as our athletes embark on an extraordinary journey to row 1,000,000 meters, all in support of our upcoming season.
17th Annual Row-Along Fundraiser
Get ready to grab an oar and join us for the highlight event of the spring season – the Annual Row-Along! Scheduled for April 13th, 2024, this exciting fundraiser allows parents, friends, and members of the community to experience the thrill of rowing alongside our talented athletes while supporting our team. (Rain Day: 4/14/2024)
2018 Row-Along-Regatta
Due to a rainy forecast, we have opted to postpone the RowAlong Regatta one week until Sunday, October 14, 10am-2:30pm. We regret any inconvenience.
Learn the fundamentals of rowing from our outstanding coaching staff and team of championship rowers. This 90-minute lesson and row serve as an introduction to the most collaborative sport you’re yet to experience.
In addition to supporting the team, your $50 participation fee will provide you rare insight into rower-terminology. With a little bit of luck, you may “catch a crab.” Snacks, training, and festivities are included along with your 45-minute row.
Reduced rates are available for rowers ages 13 – 14.
Date: Sunday, October 7, 10am-2:30pm
Location: Ann Arbor Community Boathouse Argo Pond, Bandemer Park, 1352 Lake Shore Dr, Ann Arbor.
Contact: Leigh Ann Koepp, email hidden; JavaScript is required
Checks accepted (please make out to Pioneer Rowing Club, Not PRC) and may be mailed to: Martha Gordon 750 Dartmoor Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103

2018-2019 Annual Fundraiser
During the winter, when our rowers are off erging in a basement, readying themselves for spring, team-fans like to get together inside. And a fundraiser provides the perfect opportunity.
In February of 2018, we spent a snowy evening at Bab’s Underground Lounge. For years before that, we had wine tastings and auctions.
It’s going to be awesome! Whatever festive activities lie ahead, the fundraising committee will tell you as soon as we know. And you’re welcome to make suggestions and volunteer to help, too. Just contact Colleen Sherman.
