Board Meetings are held the second Wednesday* of each month at 7:00 PM at Pioneer High School. All parents are welcome to attend!

Board of Directors

 

President | Julie Hershovitz

  • Serves as the PRC Chairperson of the Board and liaison between parents, coaches, athletics, and Pioneer Athletic Department and Administration.
  • Supports PRC Officers and permanent Committee Chairs.
  • Organizes, schedules, and sets agendas for all meetings.
  • Appoints committees.
  • Initiate special meetings as needed.

Vice President | Tomiyo Wemert

  • Provides backup assistance to the President as needed.
  • Creates, maintains, and monitors sign ups.
  • Acts as liaison to Committee Chairs to ensure volunteer and supply/needs are met. 

Treasurer(s) | Leida Soto & Open Position

  • Maintains PRC checking, loan, PayPal, and other various financial accounts.
  • Manages finances of PRC which includes, payables and receivables.
    • Records receipts and issues reimbursements.
  • Signs off on all purchases and contractual agreements.
  • Manages and oversees insurance.
  • Manager amortization schedule of equipment.
  • Prepares Treasurers Report for monthly Board Meeting.
  • Works with PRC CPA to review financials and ensure tax compliance.
  • Maintains 501(c)(3) status and License of Donation Solicitation.

Secretary | Kellie Chesler-Root

  • Records and distributes Board Meeting Minutes.
  • Maintains all PRC records (Google Drive).
  • Maintains Google Groups distributions lists.

Booster Club Liaison | Karmen Saran

  • Liaison between PRC and the PHS Booster Club.

Clothing Chairperson | Karmen Saran

    • Spirit Wear, Gore-Tex, Regatta Sport (Uni)
    • Identifies product.
    • Liaison with supplier.
    • Open and closes order windows.
    • Communicates with PRC Families.

Communications Chairperson | Kellie Chesler Root

    • Composes synapses of regatta highlights and results and provides to media outlets.
    • Distributes published content links to PRC Families.
    • Coordinators information for weekly newsletter.
    • Edits content.
    • Distributes published content links to PRC Families.

Equipment Chairperson(s) | Kelly & Jonny Sexton | Michelle Barkoot & Randy Eberhart

  • Identifies individual to pull PRC Food Trailer.
  • Maintains and replenishes all items housed in food trailer.
    • Propane tanks
    • Grills and griddles
    • Tents

Food Chairperson | Joy Colquitt & Tomiyo Wemert

  • Purchases and coordinates food donation for all regattas.
  • Coordinates storage and transportation of food to regatta sites.
  • Works with parent volunteers to prepare food and beverages at regatta sites.
  • Maintains the necessary organization to stay within the allocated budget for each regatta.

Fundraising Chairperson | Ryan Davis & Karmen Saran

  • Identifies fundraising opportunities.
    • Dine to Donate
    • Silent Auction
  • Identifies and coordinates Coordinator(s) for various events.

Travel Chairperson | Michela Arnaboldi

  • Arranges bus and lodging accommodations for out of town regattas.
  • Identifies, completes, and collects required  paperwork for out of state and country regattas.
  • Coordinates chaperones for out of town regattas.
  • Identifying medical needs of athletes.

Banquet Coordinator | Jenny Rickard

  • Identify date for Fall and Spring banquet with PRC Board.
  • Coordinate with Pioneer High School to reserve cafeteria.
  •  Liaison with Vice President for volunteers.
    • Food Donation
    • Setup, maintenance, and takedown
  • Liaison with Paper Product Coordinator for supplies.
  • Maintain decoration inventory
  • Coordinate the following
    • Senior slideshow for Spring
    • Order cake

Name Tag Coordinator | Jennifer Coffman

  • Creates and distributes parent name tags.

Photography Coordinator | OPEN POSITION

  • Requests photographs from regatta attendees.
  • Manages Flickr account.
  • Organized Fall and Spring Team Photos.
  • Submits Spring Team Photo to Pioneer Year Book Committee.

Row Along Coordinator(s) | Ryan Davis

  • Plans largest fundraiser of the year.
    • Manages registration.
    • Identifies volunteers.
    • Coordinates advertising.

Social Media Coordinator | Do-Hee Morsman

  • Administrator for Facebook and Instagram.

Website Coordinator(s) | Michael Morsman

  • Maintains all content posted on website.
    • In-season weekly Posts.
    • Fall and Spring content updates.
    • Annual review and update of all pages.

Volunteer Coordinator | OPEN POSITION

  • Confirm volunteer requirements with regatta organizers
  • Ensure team provides the required number of volunteers
  • Communicate needs clearly and on time to parents/guardians
  • Maintain an organized signup system and track assignments
  • Encourage and remind parents to sign up for open volunteer spots
  • Serve as main contact for volunteer matters at large race sites
  • Connect experienced families with new families through Parent Buddies Program
  • Recruit and confirm parent chaperones for CSSRA; ensure forms and travel documents are completed
